Finding and Adding Friends
Discover people, compare preferences, and connect through invite codes
There are two ways to connect with people on Consent Navigator: browsing public profiles to discover new people, or sharing invite codes with someone you already know. Both methods use invite codes to establish the friendship.
Method 1: Browse Public Profiles
Discover people who have made their profiles public, see how your preferences align, and reach out.
Browse Profiles
Go to Browse in the navigation menu to see public profiles. You can search by name or location.

Click on someone to see their full profile, including their bio, what they're looking for, and public preferences.

Send a Message
Click Send Message to introduce yourself. Be genuine, mention what caught your attention, and ask questions!
They Reply & Share an Invite Code
If they're interested, they can reply to your message. To become friends and unlock full features (comparing preferences, consent sheets, etc.), one of you generates an invite code.
Enter the Code
Go to Friends in the navigation, enter the code they shared, and click Connect.
Have an Invite Code?
Enter the code someone shared with you to connect.
Method 2: Invite Someone You Know
Already know someone outside the platform? Generate a code and share it via text, email, or any other way.
Generate an Invite Code
Go to Friends and use the "Invite Someone" section. Choose how long the code should be valid.
Invite Someone
Generate a code to share with a partner you want to connect with.
Copy & Share Your Code
Your code appears in "Your Active Invite Codes". Click the copy button and share it however you like.
They Enter Your Code
The other person signs up (or logs in), goes to Friends, enters your code, and you're connected!
What Can You Do With Friends?
Once connected, you unlock powerful features for negotiation and exploration.
Compare Preferences
See your ratings side-by-side. Find matches, discover new interests, and identify boundaries.
Message Freely
Have full conversations with message history. Share preference cards directly in chat.
Consent Sheets
Create formal agreements for scenes. Negotiate items, add notes, and finalize consent.
View Wardrobe
Browse their clothing and gear collection. Great for planning outfits for scenes.
View Toybox
See their toys and equipment. Discover what's available to play with.
Generate Scenes
Use AI to create roleplay scenarios based on your mutual interests.
Privacy & Safety
🔒 Profile Visibility
Only public profiles appear in Browse. You control your visibility in Edit Profile.
🛡️ Blocking
You can block anyone at any time. Blocked users can't see your profile or contact you.
🗑️ Removing Friends
Remove a friend anytime from the Friends page. They won't be notified.
⏱️ Code Expiration
Invite codes expire automatically. You can also revoke them manually at any time.
Quick Reference
To Find New People
- Go to Browse
- View profiles that interest you
- Send a message to introduce yourself
- If interested, exchange invite codes
- Enter their code on the Friends page
To Invite Someone You Know
- Go to Friends
- Click Generate Code
- Copy the code
- Share it with them (text, email, etc.)
- They enter the code to connect
